Palladium Possibilities

We are delighted to announce that we can now provide our entire range of both wedding and engagement rings in palladium, which is very exciting not only from a cost perspective to you the consumer but also from a durability and longevity perspective. For those of you not familiar with Palladium please read on:

Palladium is a member of five platinum group of metals and was very popular for jewellery making in the early part of the 20th century, however more recently it has been used as a whitening agent in white gold alloys, this has become particularly relevent since the introduction of the European Nickel Directive.
It has many advantages such as its whiteness: Palladium is very white, it easily falls into the 'Grade 1'category of the index developed to measure the whiteness of white gold alloys. Because of this is does not need Rhodium plating. The metal has the same tarnish resistance as Platinum, it is malleable and durable and can be polished to a high finish.
It is also mixed to the same alloy standard as Platinum 950 in other words it is 95% pure palladium. Another of its advantages is its price, palladium is less than half the price of platinum!
